My name is Lucas Arkevall, and I am a recent graduate 3D artist specialized in Maya with a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, specializing in Media and Design. I am a quick learner and a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team. In my free time, I play a lot of music, exercise, and enjoy being in nature. As a person, I am calm and pragmatic, and I constantly strive towards new goals. From my previous experiences, I have developed a great adaptability and quickly fit into new groups, which makes it easy for me to integrate with new people. 2016-2018
Itinerant salesman for McDonald’s Scandinavium. My main task was to sell snacks and drinks during events at Scandinavium. This was my first part-time job outside of school.

Holiday work provided by the municipality, involving maintenance and care of the motocross track used by Älvbygdens Motorklubb.
July 2018
Holiday work provided by the municipality, assisting and helping at a nursing home in a quiet ward.

Drummer in the core revue orchestra. A revue with twelve performances. Played in two productions so far.
June 2019 – October 2024
It started as a summer job but has become more of a part-time job outside of school. In my fifth year now and I learn new things every day. My tasks involve selling paint, wallpaper, tools, flooring, and tiles. I maintain order in the warehouse, including cleaning, logistics, inventory, and handling various orders, as well as ensuring that the store is intact and clean. I have learned a tremendous amount about paint and wallpaper, and I have also developed the ability to read and handle different people and situations.
November 2024 – Present
I work as a kitchen planner and kitchen expert at IKEA, where I help customers bring their dream kitchens to life. My job involves a bit of everything—planning layouts, designing functional and stylish spaces, and creating detailed drawings that suit each customer’s needs and preferences. I also guide them through the buying process, offering advice and solutions to make their kitchen both practical and beautiful.
A big part of the role is building strong, lasting relationships with customers, making sure they feel supported and confident throughout the process. On top of that, we work towards set sales goals, which keeps the job exciting and challenging. At the same time, there’s a lot of focus on personal and professional growth, so I’m constantly learning, improving my skills, and developing as a person.
Internships
A local newspaper editorial where we assisted with simpler tasks. The internship was provided by the elementary school.
Camera assistant during the liveshow P3-Guld 2018, which took place at Partille Arena. Provided by LBS Media High School and was specifically for our specialization.
An internship where I independently created descriptive materials. During the internship, I received support in marketing but was largely left to manage on my own, which was rewarding as I worked towards deadlines and stakeholders. As a graphic designer, I grew a lot and gained new perspectives on the profession.
Hobbies
Music has always been a part of my life and upbringing. I’ve been playing drums since birth and played at the cultural school for as long as I could. I have been playing drums and percussion in Kungälvs Musikkår since 2015, and I am also a self-taught pianist. Music is one of my greatest passions and something that I prioritize very highly in my life. I also play at other places when needed.
Exercise is also an important part of my life, for both physical and mental well-being. Nowadays, it’s mostly gym training, but for several years, I played both football and floorball, like most people. I also prioritize the gym, but I’m much more flexible about when I choose to work out there.
I’ve always enjoyed being in nature, and during the year of the pandemic, I discovered disc golf. At first, it was mostly fun to do something different than just walking around in the forest, but the addiction quickly escalated because it was an extremely gratifying nerd-friendly sport. Diving deep into things is incredibly fun, and that’s why I got hooked on disc golf. Nowadays, I play in the local weekly tour at the club, a couple of regional tournaments, and the amateur championships held every year. It’s a sport where I’ve met many new friends. A sport where everyone is welcome for who they are, just as they are, regardless of how skilled they are.
I’ve previously enjoyed watching movies, something that comes and goes in waves. The most fascinating thing about a movie is when you truly get swept away by the story. When you feel a presence in the film’s world. I analyze a lot for myself when I watch movies and find it interesting and inspiring how they are edited, how the music is layered, and how the actors sometimes break the fourth wall. Like when Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) in the final scene of Pirates of The Caribbean, Dead Man’s Chest, speaks directly into the camera after chewing on his apple.I also enjoy playing games when time permits, as a way to relax and take my mind off things.
